Rowan belt mod

I don't remember any lub when fitting my HEQ5 conversion.

Just check all holes are deburred, make sure grubscrews go in easy and that the pulleys slide on relatively easy.

You should'nt need to force anything, not all shafts and pulleys will have the same tolerance so you may find
the mating slightly tight and some fettling needed. If you hit a problem ask as there are many on here who have done the mod.

As Mike says, the toothed belts need no lubrication.  I would imagine any lube would be detrimental to the belt material.  I had trouble with mine initially because the new spindles were too long.  The mount was an older version though. Rowan engineering offer a cutting service for this very reason.  It is a doddle to fit mind.
