Very rapid attempt at M27 - Dumbbell Nebula

Only had 2 hours tonight between it going dark and my target Dumbbell Nebula (M27) vanishing behind a hill - so 1 hour (30 x 120 sec) subs on Lum - binned 1x1 and 20 x 60 sec binned 2x2 each of RGB and whizzed through Pixinsight. Heq5, ED80, Atik 460EX and Atik EFW with Baader LRGB filters, ST80 and Lodestar for guidance. Heavily cropped.

Well done, sir!

There was just a good article on the Dumbbell Nebula in the popular 'Universe Today' online publication - very good timing! Worth tracking-down for picking up a bit of literature to accompany your take on this venerable Messier object.

Carry on the good work! I'll be looking foreward to your Cat's Eye, weather willing -

Dave
