Open Cluster NGC1662 - RC6 test

Having some frustrations trying to use my RC6 as a spectrograph, so tried an Open Cluster in RGB after collimating it. Nothing wrong with the scope, so suspicion must fall back on me unfortunately.

RC6, native F9. Atik 414ex, RGB. 15 x 30 seconds each.

Hi Matt

That looks pretty good for a short exposure  I thought of getting an RC6 but the F9 put me off, plus some people seemed to think an RC8 was much better. I decided an RC8 would be too heavy - and too expensive! Will be interested to see how you get on with the RC6.
