Nova2000
I took the delivery of the star adventurer today. I heard this thing about autoguide in which one can take longer exposure images without trailing. I thought of the qhy5l 2 autoguider and the QHY mini guide scope. I selected this package as its lightweight and won't put a load on the star adventurer. Has anyone tried out this guide cam?
Owmuchonomy
Regarding the Star Adventurer then remember it is only driven in right ascension. To use extended exposure times it will be necessary to have excellent polar alignment. It is really designed for widefield astrophotography with camera/lens kits or small scopes. Mine struggles with anything over 2.5kg in payload.
