OBSERVER CHAIR BY SKYWATCHER

Bought one of these a few days ago. Seat easily adjustable but prone to collapse and could lead to accident in the dark.Modified this with pipe clamps. Now feels safe. Also too large for a 2.2 metre observatory because of the wide feet spread. This also required modification. A pretty decent chair if you are handy................Dave

Looks pretty similar to the American made Starbound Observing Chair.  Is the Skywatcher European or Chinese made?  I can't find anyone offering it here in the states.  Has anyone compared the build quality of the two?

Hi Louis, It's Chinese made. Robust tubular steel. Like you say, similar to the US made one........Dave
