no eclipse tonight but what about neptune. A wider field pic would show the planet just to the left by about the time the shot was taken as it was justmafter the occultation had finished..... maybe thats what you meant to capture of course

No it was just a brain fart , had it in my mind for the 15th for some reason , never even noticed the Neptune occultation was happening ... 

The only time I consulted Stellarium was to get the illumination data , perhaps the 98.8% bit should have registered ... 

Just had a look at my first few RAW files and given them a good old stretch but nowt showing , too short an exposure coupled with a disc Barlowed tight to the edge of the frame ...
