I too like the scale of this image but agree that the focus is soft. It would appear that you have used an Ha filter with a colour CCD camera (nothing wrong with that - it can work very well) but there is still some RGB colour in your image which is a little strange. A better result might be achieved by extracting just the red channel from your colour image or perhaps capture the data with the camera set to 2 x 2 bin to destroy the Bayer matrix and collect the data even quicker. If your camera is a mono camera then it would be interesting to know where the colour pixels have been generated from!

It's a good start though on a fascinating object.
