Added the Ha to the red channel in blend mode lighten and added it to the combined lrgb as another luminance but at only 10% opacity. Processed a rgb only for the stars with boosted saturation and added it over the top of the combined l/Ha-,HaRGB, a bit of selective sharpening here and there and a touch of noise reduction.

You make that sound easy, but I am sure it is not! Was that found from experimentation for this particular image, or something like variants on a guide for all these kinds of images?

Defiantly a make it up as you go, variation on a theme. My work flow is to empty all the toys out of the box then put them back one by one until they all fit. This one was started 3 times and discarded for one reason or another.

I calibrate and stack all the individual channels, then crop and deal with any gradients in lum and Ha. Combine the RGB and deal with gradients in that. Levels and curves on all channels, then try various combination methods to get the best out of the data.
