CELESTRON STARSENSE AUTOALIGN FOR SKY-WATCHER MOUNTS

Can anybody shed some light on this Auto align system,

1 is it as good as all the reviews say it is?

2 will it work straight out of the box or will I have to do a firmware update before I set it up?

There is a whole thread on this subject.

I used one on my AVX mount and it worked well enough for me. After setting up I could pretty much rely on getting a target within the FOV of a 24mm ep on a 9.25 SCT.

Where it can sometimes suffer is if you have too many high buildings around.
