Perseid meteors possible outburst on Aug 11-12

It is predicted that the Earth will pass through a rich part of the Perseid meteor stream on the night of August 11/12, which might result in enhanced meteor activity.

typical its predicted to clear here tonight after incessant rain ....... and Im on earlies so will miss the peak this year !

Well....despite peering outside for half an hour ( it was a little misty ) I didn't see a single one. I then watched a 'live' NASA web display of the Perseids....and that didn't show a single one either.

I know when i'm beat. This years Perseid' have been a complete bust.
