Trying to improve my skills

Recommended Posts

Here in the US on the eastcoast we've had nothing but, volcanic heat , humidity and evening showers . It's put a damper on my imaging attempts of Saturn although I did manage to get with high wind , Jupiter spc900 and a 5x powermate. I've been running this through my processing with mixed results  from month to month , can a guy get  some help from some of you more experienced  fellas?  As2, pipp, and reg.6 for my workflow and  I tried to figure out Winjupos to no avail . Help !

Regarding your last image, looks like you need to do a RGB align in Registax. I see a bluish tinge on the left side.

WarmWeatherGuy has some quite helpful videos on YouTube, that's where I learned the basics.

Collimation, focus and seeing are all important, your local seeing may be holding you back.

Good luck!
