Storm over Bedford 7th June

We had a terrific storm yesterday - Thor was a busy chap  - so I stuck my camera out of the window and started snapping...

What I soon discovered was that I managed to miss every lightning struck perfectly!! Every time the shutter closed, the sky flashed! So, I switched to video mode and thought I could grab frames from the video...

Well that worked OK! So, here are a couple of grabs from the video (hence the low resolution), hacked in PS to bring out the strikes!
