Winjupos - how to remove pale edge?

I'm getting to grips with Winjupos. Saturn worked OK, but I'm having issues with Jupiter. I now have a half-decent image except that there is a thin pale line around the left hand edge. The image sharpens up nicely with detail not visible on the individual frames, but that left edge becomes an awful mess with sharpening.

Is this caused by poor alignment or something else?

I have tried various ways to get rid of it in photo shop, but they all cause equally bad effects when I apply the final sharpening.

Have you tried dropping LD value setting on winjupos

Yes, lower the LD value when measuring in Winjupos. It's on the Adjust tab, try 0.9 and see if things are improved. Go lower until it goes?

Update: Ah yes, it seems to work in a strange way... LD= Limb Darkening? It isn't explained...
