zwo usb2 camera in a usb3 port

Hi

I'm considering a new laptop with usb3 ports. Is it possible to get the zwo usb2 cameras -I have a asi120mm- to work with the usb3 ports? Currently I have to use the existing usb2 port on my old laptop;  it isn't recognised when plugged into the usb3 ports.

I have used my older USB2 ZWO ASI120MC in my purely USB3 laptop, but also the USB 3 ASI174MM in USB2 mode. Both work (at USB2 speeds, of course).

My ASI120M usb2 version works fine on my new USB3 only laptop.

OK. Then it may be something PHD specific. Anyone using PHD2 with a 120mm usb2 in a usb3 socket?

Yes. Both MM and MC in USB 2 and USB 3
