DSLR T-ring 'play' when attached

Hello,

My DSLR camera is connected via A T-ring adaptor to the telescope. It simply connects just like a normal camera lens. However there is a degree of movement once it is connected. I can rotate a little bit left and right. Any ideas how I can remove this 'slop' ?

I have tried a bit of insulation tape between the coupling - sort of works - but not great ....

I have the same problem.  It is the slop between the locating/locking pin and it's slot.  People have filled the slot with JB Weld then attached the ring to the camera whilst setting (place some film between the camera face and ring face to stop them getting glued together) to create a smaller slot made by the pin.  Not ideal but apparently it works

Things imve used to reduce this play:

- a smear of blue tak

- little squares of electrical tape in three places, sometimes two of three layers high to build it up

My t-ring has 3 very small holes equally spaced around the ring. To tighten you can use a small flat head screwdriver like a driver a watch repairman would use.
