Skywatcher dual speed focuser question

Hello all,

Sorry if this is a dumb question, highly likely - I've just invested in a replacement Skywatcher dual speed focuser for my beautiful 190MN but the baseplate on the focuser is bigger than my existing one, therefore the screw holes are in different places. Am I supposed to remove the new focuser body from the new baseplate and use the existing baseplate? Is that even possible? I'd naively expected just to remove the 4 screws holding the entire unit into my OTA, pop out the old focuser and fit the new one, apparently not that simple.

So, rather than drinking beer I'm now staring at my set up like an idiot and wondering what I've missed. Anyone come across this before? Thanks in advance.... and... it's cloudy.

perhaps pop an email off to where you purchased it from. most good retailers will be able to answer any queries you have.
