Advice on Stacking Software for MAC

Hi All

The questions are now starting.

Can anybody advise me on the best (read 'free' if possible) software to use for lunar, planetary and DSO image processing please? The trouble is, I'm using a MAC and Deep Sky Stacker only works on Windows which I found out on YouTube and was wondering if anybody knows if there's an equivalent program that runs on OSx?

I already have Adobe PS Elements 14 and Lightroom 6 for normal image processing, but I'm not sure if these will be 'powerful' enough I'm there processing algorithms and accurate enough to create great images.

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

lunar and planetary I use Lynkeoss and DSO I use Pixinsight,

As stated above, Lynkeos and Pixinsight are some great options. You can also run Windows on your Mac through a program called BootCamp. Good luck!

Physicist and Herzy, I'm going to have a look at those programs now. I'm assuming that I'll find them if I just Google them?

When I got time I look on my mac as I do have a copy of Dss that works ,( Its on the net think all I done was look for DSS for mac computers ).

I use Deep Sky Stacker in a wineskin wrapper and it works great on my MAC.

No need for bootcamp or windows.

You can get it here all free !
