anyone using qhy5l II to auto guide with phd2 on heq5 mount

just wondered if anyone was using a qhy5l II to autoguide with on a heq5 mount,just wondered what cables you connected,and settings used as been at it 3 hours and still no joy thanks

I can't help you with the settings. For the cables you connect the camera to the computer using a usb cable and connect the camera and mount together using the ST4 port on the camera and mount using the ST4 cable. In PHD2 select "on camera" for mount type.

thanks as im using stellarium as well do i need the usb cable as well (the eqdir cable) from laptop to mount

If you are using EQMOD and an EQDIR cable to the mount from the laptop you can just use the usb from the camera to laptop and eqdir connection to the mount and pulseguide through EQMOD  without the extra ST4 cable from camera to mount http://eq-mod.sourceforge.net/eqaindex.html and http://eq-mod.sourceforge.net/tutindex.html

Select the appropriate camera model from the selection.

so i use phd2 to  pulseguide through EQMOD  is that correct thanks
