Quick Session - Inadvertent Comet Catalina Capture...

Was out earlier this evening with my boy Thomas playing with DSLR's, he was capturing some shots of Orion for stacking, I was playing around doing selfies... but I managed to capture Catalina, albeit accidentally...

James, great to see you spending quality time with your son under the stars.... a rare thing these days what with telly & video games, my father did the same with me back in the early 70's watching meteor showers, he died in 1979, little did I know then he had sparked an interest in me that was to last throughout the years so well done you!

I managed to capture it on purpose at the NLO on Friday night... I used my 6D with a 70-300mm Tamron lens rather than the Borg scope and it shows in the photo but I'm not unhappy with the result
