Bit late: Venus and Moon from December 8

Just remembered I took a few shots of Venus and the moon with my Canon EOS 450D and 70-300mm IS USM zoom at 115mm

Just a single shot, no post-processing

The 2nd upload has certainly improved it for viewing. Lovely peaceful image, just a question re scaled PNG, what does the "scaled" part refer to?

As the forum software tends to scale things down from the original 12Mpixel or so, I thought it better to do the scaling in a controlled way myself, to prevent loss of detail (simply using Gimp Lanczos scaling)
