Comet C/2013 US10 (Catalina)

After finishing data collection for my Flaming Star Nebula it was near the end of the night so waited for Comet Catalina to rise.
Here is the result of 10 x 120s luminance out of around 20 subs. (The early ones were through vegetation)

As I understand it the one on the left is the dust tail or it seems from things I've read to be called a dust trail, and the other is the ion tail. The ion tail points directly away from the Sun and the dust trail is initially away fro the Sun but as the dust particles move away they are then in slightly different orbits with the effect that the trail bends. The two tails here seem to be in almost opposite directions but that is, I believe, just a perspective effect. They are both coming towards us.

Very nice capture. The tails are great. Still not viewed this because of the weather.
