Stacking AVIs?

Hi all

I recently got an Altair Astro GPCam mono and thought I'd have a go at imaging some dso's with it. I took some videos (avi) using the supplied AltairCapture software but I'm wondering how I can sort and stack the individual frames? I'm familiar with Registax but not sure if I can use that on star clusters?

Hi l have used registax on DSO and just clicked on more align points or stars an it worked fine. You should have a go with Sharpcap as well it now has live stacking for the GPcam and other new features.

You can use VirtualDub to split the Avi into individual frames:
