Like father like son

22 years ago my dad took me along to my first astonomy meeting at the Northampton Natural History Society. I only went for a couple of years before we moved away, but they were very happy times and a friendly, knowledgeable crowd. This was the letter I received prior to joining:

Tomorrow evening, I'm taking my 7-year old, Noah, with me for my first visit since about 1996. A talk on the atmospheric effects of volcanism, which fits nicely with his school topic this term - "natural disasters".

We're both very excited.
