Lunar Eclipse

So, I plotted out where the Lunar Eclipse will be in the sky.

Times and locations are estimates. Close approximations.

Seems to be stretching out fairly far left to right.

I am able to figure the distance out, but how do I figure out the height?

Left to right I can just use a compass.

But how do i find the height/angle?

Ah, right, that makes sense  then :)

Given the focal length of the lens and the camera sensor size it is trivial to work out what area of sky the sensor will cover and you can then presumably compare that with the first and last positions of the Moon in the image in your original post?
