mark skelton
When using image capturing sortware like Artemis capture (that came with my atik titan mono) on the exposure box you have bin x/ bin y, what I would like to know is what is binning? Freddie
It makes groups of pixels act as one so you get more sensitivity but at the loss of resolution. The higher the bin the more pixels are grouped as set by the bin number. Bin 1, 1 pixel; bin 2, 4 pixels (2x2) etc etc
mark skelton
I right in understanding that its like setting the iso on a dslr. so for best resolution its best to keep the binning as low as possible ie 1x1
