But CO says clear sky at 10.00 and two ISS passes and I still haven't captured a Perseid on camera

Well, I've got the scopes out and set up so we'll see. If it's anything like last night they'll be coming straight back in again.

Sky looks better than last night, I can make out the Milky Way overhead, shame about the clouds

Nice ISS pass, occulted Deneb, unusual to see it go in front of a star.

You've got a better sky than I have, I suspect a local pocket of darker sky. Trying to get some 10 min subs of M27 in Ha right now.

Set DSLR going to try and catch a Perseid, not sure whether it's worth starting an imaging run, need to check Moon rise.

Well, that didn't last long   . I think I may have 3 or perhaps 4 subs, but when I went out again PHD2 was bonging away and looking up the sky was totally clouded out. Hope you have better luck.

Brought my kit in now and I'll be hitting the sack.
