Orion Magnificent Mini package plus my RDF

Hi

Considering auto guiding. This package seems to work well but one question.

When doing a 2 star align on my Advanced VX, I normally centre in red dot finder first.

Obviously the mag mini replaces the RDF so do I centre in the screen on PHD or centre in the 50mm finderguide scope and then attach the Orion star shoot AG and start auto guiding after the 2 star align ?

Which way round to do things ?

Or do i mount the RDF somewhere else?

I use a Telrad for the first star, then PHD for any others guide rings on the guide scope make getting the PHD Bullseye and the centre of EP's or Sensor quite a bit easier, if your mount supports Polar Alignment on any star getting the PA right is really easy.....
