Moon versus twilight.

Still light past midnight. Gave Saturn an early go, quite spectacular at about x220.

Then off to the lunar terminator. Somewhat surprised to find the frac view both inverted and mirrored !

Just depends on your position, I was nearly at alt az with the mount so it gently rotated in the fov. Some great sites on view with Schroeter valley a very sinuous cobra head curving away . Then just a glide up and down picking up rills and domes. Over to the much trampled Clavius.

It's always a fight using maps, but the Moon Map app. proved very useful indeed.

Finished up on Lyra with the more interesting " other double", Sheliak giving a blue and orange at x59 in a packed field and delta Lyrae giving a superb view.

Finished with HD 175634 close to M57 and giving a lovely orange blue.

I picked out the "Turtle" planetary in a Hercules at x125, quite obviously blinking .

Not a memorable session, but another shot with the 102. Reducing to 4" and give it some we'll,

Nick.

Nice report Nick, the twilight seems to enhance Saturn and the Moon at the moment,

only got a short gimps last night before the dreaded white stuff came in, but a couple

of nights ago the detail of Saturn was stunning, and that was around 11.00 pm, let's

hope it stay's that way for a while, as the forecast is for clear sky's for a few nights.
