28th June - Lunar/Saturn conjunction

Just playing around with SkySafari this morning and found this nice looking conjunction on 28th June between the Moon and Saturn. Looks like they will be within 2 degrees whilst still at 18 degrees altitude, and even closer down at 8 degrees

One for the imagers, and observers with either bins or a nice widefield scope.

Should get this added to the calendar, couldn't see it in there

Worth a look, weather permitting.

Shame it's not 10 days earlier and then the astrologers amongst us would have tied it to the Waterloo 200th anniversary, although I suppose Mars might have been needed as well.
