Canon 60Da custom white balance

Fed up with seeing the bright blue exposures when imaging with the 60Da and an Astronomik clip filter, I decided to sort out a custom white balance.

Seeing as it was a bright clear sunny day I got my flexible grey card out and did some exposures.

Of course with this WB the daylight images are now quite red.

Canon did a very good job with their daylight WB for the 60Da

When i received my Modded 600D from CheapAstro, Juan had adjusted the colour balance and with the Blue and Green slide over to the right (or left)  it takes normal day light pictures set back to the centre and it does DSO's ect  with a nice dark back ground upto 10 minute exposure on moonless nights  down to less than 2 minutes on a full moon.....very pleased with it....

Been using my 60Da for astro with clip filter and custom W/B for a while, works ok, just need to remember to reset it for other stuff

Was going to try it last night but by the time it was dark the clouds appeared.

Got one sub of IC1396 through the clouds and looks pretty good.
