Pier Question

Thinking of making a garden pier for my  SW HEQ5 mount. I understand that a few of you out there have used brake discs as the pier top. Is there an ideal set of discs to get that fit the SW HE Q5?

If you google "brake disc dimensions" you can find tables of disc sizes - just pick a common make and model to keep the price down.  if you can a used disc will be quite a bit cheaper.

Lots of past threads on here to that effect so you could try a search.  From memory Mazda and Ford Fiesta were favourites.
