May 11, 2015: Lovely Lunchtime Sunshine

Had a great H-alpha session with the SolarMax 60 over lunch. Spotted AR 2339 north of centre of the disk, with its large expanse of plage area surrouning the sunspots. Some proms were lurking like a low bank of clouds on the northeastern limb, suggesting more to come. some filaments of the great train in the south are rounding the western limb. Beautiful disk today.
