Death Star + Mice gx

Despite a bright gibbous moon last night managed to target a few DSOs including quasar 3C321 [Death Star Gx] in Serpens and NGC 4676 "The Mice" interactive gx in Coma @ 300 MLY.

I'm pleased with the detail in "the Mice" - the tail is surprisingly bright and I've got a hint of "the Plume" from the B component especially in negative form which compares well with the POSS2 red plate inset right. APOD = http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap150201.html

The Death Star Gx is recorded as a tiny fuzzy star at >billion LY but the Hubble pic inset shows detail. Even POSS2 plates bare separates the two remote gx but an interesting exercise from suburbia ;-)

Very nice. The Mice put me in mind of Arp 335 in Leo (which also looks like a pair of tadpoles).
