Hi Nytecam,

Great shots. I was all set to do the same thing last night, but the skies never cooperated.

Just wondering why you use the SX s/w instead of Paul's LL with the mono LS. I know you prefer the color with the SX, but I was wondering about the mono.

Hi Don - I have colour problems with LL of late as it doesn't seem to like my W7 - ok at launch but got flaky later versions although I've not tried LL+mono lately and perhaps I should.  Worryingly I've found nobody that admits to using Windows and with no sign of resolving it I take the least line of resistance and use SX s/w mono or colour.

Good group of observations- nearly enough for an automated supernova patrol!

Yep - that's covered ! Do a live SN check as the image subs download with Wiki sky of galaxy running in the background and check prior to posting. It's a needle-in-the-haystack chase but discovered SN2011az :-)
