While I am waiting... A few quickies!!

While I am waiting for an adapter to use the Art11002 I have got a QHY6 camera to play with This camera is pretty similar to the Atik 16ic that I started with last year. So was loads of fun to use on thursday night! Though it was a little strange using such a small FOV after using the QHY8!

Just quick processes on the laptop (screen is not calibrated) All shots were taken with the 8" F/4 Newt. Had a few problems with guiding which I found out were down to poor balance :roll: Also seeing was not fantastic and focus is slightly out. :roll:

Exposure details:

M51: 40 min (8x300sec)

M81: 1hr (12x300sec)

M13: 2min (1x120sec)

Great photos, I wish I had the gear to do shots like that (he thought wondering where he could raid the next hidden from SWMBO money from). The M13 is brilliant for 2 minutes.
