EDIT, oh, only 15deg elevation at 40deg north lat in the morning sky, so not good from 52deg north !!

Yeah I saw that on APOD, and wondered the exact same thing, don't think I've seen it mentioned on here, but could of just overlooked it as I spend most of my time in the Astro Lounge lol.

After fading quite rapidly for a few days, it has now brightened again to approx mag5.

so the show is not yet over for our southern friends
