M48 - for something different

Thought I might try M48:

15 X 45sec Exposures at ISO1600 (no darks and a very bad flat):

It's refreshing to see one of the lesser imaged Messier Sam.

This was one of the missing Messiers, as he had it 5 degrees from it's true position.

It is a nice little cluster too. 30 minutes in diameter.

Nice image Sam. I'm a real fan or open and glob clusters.

I also was about to look up where M48 is and remember that we have the star chart facility now...
