Quickmap is even better than Vitual Moon Atlas.

WAC Nearside Big Shadow

The default texture is WAC Mosaic + NACs. It will zoom to 0.5 metre per pixel. The WAC Nearside Big Shadow texture is my favourite but won't zoom as deep.

I agree with the OP &c..... It's so taken for granted even we stargazers forget to capitalise the M!

Heaven forfend we ever tried that with jupiter.... he'd be around wid 'da boys' in no time.....

Lunar Field Atlas is also good.

I'm regularly observing the moon with my 8mm EP and 2x Barlow (on a 200p).

On good nights I can get away with the 7mm and the barlow.

I've tried the 6mm and barlow combination and although the magnification is bonkers, the view does suffer from my eye lashes, floaters and any dust specks that may be on the EP, but then it is the theoretical practical limit of the 'scope.
