What for?

DSO imaging is out of consideration.

If planetary imaging then all you can do is let the planet drift over the field of view. If there is software that will account for this drift and stiull stack I do not know.

You cannot follow the planet (nudging) as the webcam is in the eyepiece position.

So yes you can but, what for?

Sure give it a go.

I have chosen a webcam that works with my tablet as I don't have a laptop.

You might need a barlow to reach focus but you won't know until you try.

I spent less than £5 to try this.

Yes you can.

As said above, you can only let the object drift through the fov, but it can be done.

Here's one I did a while back.

Nice Straight Wall there, Daz :)

Planetary imaging is always going to be a bit tricky with a manual dob.  It's possible, but it's awkward.  Almost at the point where you should count it as a success if you get any results at all.  I don't want to put you off having a go, but don't get too disheartened if you find it a struggle.
