ADM D series Counterweight kit - Thread size?

I have the ADM Counterweight kit - D Series - I need to add another weight to it as I still can't balance the scope properly and would like to use a nut to tighten the weights up and then cut off the excess thread.

Does anyone know what thread size I need on the nut please?

Hi,

I have just bought two nuts for exactly that job, I got the ones with nylon inserts

They were £2.19 from ebay and are 1/2" UNC, and when you buy UNC the size determines the threads per inch, these are 13 TPI, here:

Hope that helps

:-) :-)
