Came home from regular boys night out to find the best seeing ever in Thailand. Living far off the path has it's drawbacks, as my shutter control box is out for repair. Turned out to be a bent pin in a cable. Hope it's back soon the sky was just on fire with stars on a jet black field.-Jack

Came in at 12.30 after getting some Ha and [OIII] data on M42. Also did a [sII] trial, and saw enough to put it on my to-do list. I would have stayed out longer but I had to be up sharpish for the kitchen fitter who's coming today (Should have been here by now). Had to get up even more sharpish for a delivery that came a lot earlier than expected, and even then they didn't have the item on the van so will have to come again
