Earthshine and Crescent Moon 9/3/08

Had to go back inside to get the camera when I saw this moon - so beautiful and slim - perhaps the slimmest I've ever seen it.

All three taken handheld with the Canon A540, Hyperion zoom at 12mm, ED80 on AZ3, at ISO 800. No processing as yet.

I didn't see that I'd still overexposed the last one...

If they were taken in the canon RAW format, you may be able to adjust the exposure when you convert the file format!
