Moon 03/11/14 - With big Mak

I managed to actually get to use a scope last night, what seems like the first time in ages, yey

As the moon was nice and high and bright I thought I would give it a bash with the Mak 180 at F15. Conditions weren't the best for such a large FL due to atmospherics but it turned out better than I expected.

So managed to bag these before the watery stuff came over.

My 1st big moon of the season. SW 180 at F15 with Canon 1000d. Mosaic of 4 panes each pane 20 subs, Stacked and wavelets in Registax, manually joined in PS7. I converted to greyscale cos Im idle  I will give it a bash in colour on a cloudy night if I feel like it. Click on it to get half full size image. The original is huuuuugggggeeeee.

A single close up of Clavius with the same scope but using the QHY IMGOH mono camera. I wanted to mosaic the area a little more but by the time I had finished faffing with Copernicus area (image to come) the cloud stopped play.
