Made my first attempt at imaging the moon tonight with my Canon attached to my scope and its left me scratching my head. Looking through the eye piece of my camera everything was in focus and looked nice and sharp but when I actually took the photo it was very bright and showed no detail at all. I played with various settings on the camera but could only achieve a very slight improvement. Anyone on here know of anyone that has a similar set up to me (SkyWatcher 200PDS/EQ5/Unmodified Canon1200D) for imaging or knows where I'm going wrong??

Cheers!
