Just my luck

The lights in our cul-de-sac have not been working for 2 nights now and I cant get over how dark it is outside, don't get me wrong when they are working the LP is not to bad I can even see the Milky Way on a clear night 

But the thing is for the last 2 days we have had nothing but cloud rain and more rain, if I didn't know better I'd think that the clouds were looking down and saying LOOK THE LIGHTS HAVE GONE OUT OVER THERE LETS ALL GO AND HANG OUT THERE

I am having a different kind of badluck: the weather for this weekend is supposed to be very good for astronomy at my current location according to various weather websites. Just my luck, we have a trip planned to somewhere where the weather will be cloudy...

Just started raining here and the street lights are still out
