HEQ5 celebration thread

Many threads are to do with problems. Understandable. This thread is simply to say I have an HEQ5 and I absolutely love it.

Very happy with mine, even better after the rowan belt mod and now swinging a 10" newt. Though will step up to a bigger mount or shorter f/l for DSO's :-)

10'' - ballsy, I like it. Scared to put my 250px OTA on it!

EQ6 is a monster though - I have put the 250px OTA on one of those on a pier, and even me at 6 foot 4 needed a stepladder. Haven't laughed so much looking at technology in ages.

My NEQ6 pro throws my SW300pds with 90mm guide scope around with no probs add a canon 5Dmk2 and QHY img132e, should be overloaded but no issues and also Rowan belt mod silence is golden !

I have the Rowan belt mod too on my EQ6, it is nice!!  Make yourself a rotation ring so you do not need the step ladder!
