Second bash at Saturn

Hello,

I have just got a webcam and had a go at Saturn - this is the second bash (it's an improvment on the first which I didn't bother to post on this site.

Thats a great start, did you use a Toucam?

Yep I agree, the rings are nicely defined. There is also some colour variations on the planet itself.

The gap in the rings is now very difficult to get.

All in all I'd say one to be proud of!

Thanks for your comments. I used a Celestron Neximage. I have actually had it for a while but never used it as I don't have a laptop. I put my telescope on the balcony and focus my computer on the other side of the room. When I first tried my computer kept freezing and was just impossible but not that I have sorted out my computer it's a bit easier but the focusing is still a pain having to go back and forward from the telescope to the computer.

Looks pretty good to me - the seeing is so variable it takes quite a lot of perseverance to get a good image so you've done very well!

Damn sight better than my first go at Saturn which looks like a bleached donut. I tip my hat to you sir.
