So there I was, looking forward to a visit from the Newport Astronomical Telescope Organisation but it seems I got my wires crossed somewhere.....Turns out there were some far less important characters in town!!

Jokes aside, it's great to see Wales on the map. Even better that I got to finish at 2pm today as my office overlooks Cardiff Castle and the area needed to be cleared in time for certain VIP's arriving for dinner.

Anyone else been affected by the disruption locally?

Just got back from town having tried to get a view of Obama outside the castle. Loads of people and some spoiling it for others unfortunately. Bit great experience though

Don't even start me on it! Happy for it putting Wales on the map but not happy as a local!

I was by Angel Hotel earlier and live just on other side of Canton bridge, usually a 2/3 minute walk. However, earlier I had to walk down Westgate Street, over Wood Street bridge and then up through Riverside, being about a 20 minute walk just to get home. Ridiculous!

Also, found it amusing that everyone queued up for a view outside the castle and not realising it was chippy lane they were going for dinner....d'oh ImageUploadedByTapatalk1409868329.762618.jpg
