'D' series dovetail counterweight kit question

I am going to need some weight at the front of my scope and thought I'd do it properly!

Can anyone confirm that this dovetail counterweight kit is compatible with Losmandy dovetails? Does it just clamp under the bar itself?

Hi Sara,

I have one of those that I use on my C9.25. Its a great bit of kit that fits the larger losmandy type dovetail. Makes balancing a doddle.

Does it clamp to the underside of the Losmandy dovetail?

yep i have to use one as my 106 is VERY bum heavy and to get clerance in my current obsy I have to have it sitting back in the plate just to make maters worse.

Not for long though it wont be needed in the dome thankfully, i have a Flip Flat coing to add some nose weight and a Mount to take it all a week or so later !! YAY Happy Dance !!
