ISS flyover by eye

Recommended Posts

just watched the ISS flyover with the naked eye
even got the Mrs out to see it her first time was pretty bright (-2.2 Mag) but a lot of cloud so lost it just after it hit max

I really have to get the scope to track it and image it
but we are having sporadic showers so the scope is sitting covered up waiting for a break in the cloud

Saw it last night at 21.31hrs moving high from W to ESE. Very bright long pass but it disappeared into the cloud towards the east. As with oldpink I also got the missus out to see the ISS for the first time and she spotted a Perseid meteor as well.
